As a business owner, it is not easy to ask for a review of you and your business. For most Australians, it just doesn’t sit right with us. As business owners, we know how important it is for our business to have reviews and testimonials. And as a website designer, we are hearing more and more from Google about the importance of them. So we know it is something that our clients must be doing. So how do we get around asking?
Simply ask!
Here are 2 examples of what you can write to request a Google Review
To [insert clients name]
Would you please share your experience about [insert business name] on Google reviews. If you feel we need to improve any part of our business then please email us directly so we are able to address any concerns.
Simply access Google reviews through this clickable link [insert link] then click on ‘WRITE A REVIEW’ on the left of the screen.
Alternatively, you can go into the Google Maps app on your mobile device & search ‘[insert business name]’. Then click on reviews at the bottom. Scroll down to the stars and review away.
Looking for ideas on what to write:
- Were you happy with the service?
- How was the overall experience?
- What did you think of our accuracy & detail of quotes, service, workmanship, communication skills, sticking to scheduled due dates, after sales service?
- Would you recommend us to your friends & family?
As a local, family-owned business we truly appreciate your time and consideration.

I have a favour to ask you. We are trying to improve our online presence and would really appreciate it if you could give us a testimonial and a review on Google. If you’re happy to do this, just click on the link below to write us a review:
If you could also give us a Facebook Recommendation, that would be amazing. You can do this by clicking on the link below and where it says “Would you recommend Panda Websites?” click Yes.
